Biography

Became MD in 2002 and CEO in 2010 when he led a management buyout of St Luke’s.  The agency has been listed in The Sunday Times and Campaign’s Best Companies to Work multiple times, has picked up numerous creative, strategic and financial awards. Member of the IPA Council and BAFTA.

Neil is part of the IPA/Department for International Trade (DIT) trade mission to Cannes. The Mission is part of a wider Promote UK initiative to position the UK as a centre of advertising excellence on the world stage.

Biography

Starting out as an extreme sports filmmaker, Joel founded Chrome Productions in 2002 aged 24, now one of the UK’s leading content production companies. An experienced Producer and Director, Joel’s work has won numerous awards and he has been a guest keynote speaker at IBC and other international broadcast events.

Biography

James was recently announced as industry’s first Advertising Exports Champion by the Advertising Association, having previously been Chair of the organisation from 2015 – 2019. In this role he works to boost the profile of UK advertising services around the world with Promote UK, a cross-industry group that works in partnership with the Department for International Trade to promote the UK as the global hub for advertising. James will play a key role in ensuring the best of UK advertising has a strong presence at Cannes Lions this summer.

A well-known figure in the industry, James co-founded adam&eve in 2008, merging with DDB in 2012 to become adam&eveDDB. It has gone on to become one of the UK’s most successful agencies, most notable for its multi award-winning John Lewis and Foster’s campaigns.

adam&eveDDB have been the Top UK Agency at Cannes for the last four years. They are the only agency to have been awarded the IPA Effectiveness Grand Prix three times in a row. James recently announced that he is soon to set-up a new start-up agency in the near future.

Biography

Janet is an MA graduate of Oxford University with over 35 years’ experience of the international advertising industry.

As Director of Marketing Strategy Janet leads the IPA Three Pillar Strategy (Effectiveness/Commercial/Talent) with a particular focus on IPA Effectiveness Week (EffWeek).

Janet is now Chair of the wider AA/DIT Promote UK initiative to boost export and inward investment in advertising and marketing services, with overall responsibility for international trade missions, including Cannes.

Janet also represents the advertising sector on the Creative Industries Council (CIC), a joint forum between Government and Industry, and is Co-Producer of CIC Createch in London Technology Week

She was awarded an OBE by Prince Charles for services to the Creative Industries in the 2014 New Year Honours list.
