The relationship between brands and ‘people’ has altered dramatically, brands (and those communicating for brands) must demonstrate clear understanding of this fundamental change. We all know that brand purpose is a reason for being and sustainability is a given. But the time for brands to create action is now. Becoming a force for good is what brands must do to remain present in uncertain times. People trust brands and trust is power. It is now more than ever that we all have a role to play. Through brand activism, we can change mindsets and affect social change. During this session we will discuss the need for a clear purpose, the difference between action and intention, and how to reflect this internally and externally.
